The Space for Creative Black Imagination is building a community dedicated to the making & study of culture, race, social justice, and imagination in various forms.

Resident and affiliated artists, curators, and scholars in The Space encourage and promote critical thinking, innovative creativity, distinctive production, change-making curatorial projects, and art research.

Our activities are distinctive for their intensive focus on the conditions and possibilities of Black life today.
